Conflict arises for a range of reasons and in a variety of circumstances which are likely to be extremely influential in how two people attempt to deal with that conflict.
The Integrated Conflict Resolution Model looks at individual response behavior, shown in the inner wheel of the diagram, and ‘environmental’, ‘situational’ or ‘contextual’ factors that need to be considered in the the outer wheel of the model. The reverse side explains each of these factors and responses in context.
